Abstract

Most DNA evidence is a mixture of two or more people. Mixture analysis is problematic, often discarding exculpatory evidence or reporting inaccurate match statistics, leading to questions of relevance and reliability. This talk explores the legal and scientific issues, as well as implications for justice and society.
