Abstract

DNA is valuable evidence in homicide investigation. TrueAllele® computer analysis of complex DNA overcomes the human limitations of "inconclusive" methods. TrueAllele objectively examines low-level, degraded, touch, and mixed DNA samples to calculate match association. TrueAllele compares evidence with evidence, and separates relatives from mixtures. Crime scene and serial crime analysis reveal criminal activity. Through Beatles and bar codes, this talk shows how police can get more information from DNA evidence.
