Prison drug kingpin linked by cracker box DNA

Crime In January 2015, officers at Vanderburgh County jail found 21 grams of crack cocaine in the cell of Dugniqio Forest.
Evidence The bag of cocaine was found in a cracker box. Both the cocaine bag and the cracker box were taken as evidence.
DNA The Indiana State Police Lab developed DNA mixture data from the evidence items.
Match Due to the complexity of the mixture data, the laboratory could not produce DNA match statistics.
TrueAllele The computer connected the bag of cocaine and the packaging from the cracker box to Dugniqio Forest. The match statistics were 24.9 trillion and 708 quintillion.
Cybergenetics    On June 3, 2016, Dr. Mark Perlin from Cybergenetics testified at the Evansville, Indiana Daubert hearing and trial.
Outcome Dugniqio Forest was found guilty of possession of cocaine. He was sentenced to serve 11 years in prison, to be added onto his previous sentence of 2 years.
