Abstract
Forensic science methodology is under fire. Simple DNA data interpretation works well on evidence left by one person. But simplifying data cannot accurately interpret complex data from DNA mixtures of two or more people. The result is inaccurate DNA match statistics. Bad science leads to bad justice. Modern Bayesian computing can overcome these issues by accurately and objectively using all the data. Computers can transform complex DNA data into reliable information. Case examples show how society benefits from better science.
