Journal of Forensic Sciences publishes Cybergenetics TrueAllele Databank expert system DNA validation paper

Pittsburgh, PA

Validation studies are performed to establish the reliability of scientific methods before they are used in court. TrueAllele® Databank was the first expert system for automating the interpretation of DNA reference samples. The New York State Police conducted a developmental validation that established TrueAllele's reliability, and its speed and accuracy advantages over human review. Their validation paper was published in the Journal of Forensic Sciences.
