TrueAllele connects car door handle to suspect

Crime On May 14, 2012, 24 year old Dederick Droze was shot and killed while sitting in a parked car. Another man in the car was also shot.
Evidence DNA evidence was collected from the car.
DNA The Louisiana State Police crime laboratory developed DNA mixture data from the evidence.
Match Due to the limited nature of the mixture data, the crime lab was unable to draw conclusions from the evidence.
TrueAllele On the same data, the computer connected the car door handle to Roman Trosclair with a match statistic of 29.7 million.
Cybergenetics    On August 31, 2017, DNA analyst Jennifer Hornyak testified about the computer’s results before an East Baton Rouge jury.
