Identifying Remains using a TrueAllele® Database

  • 24-April-2025

On April 24, 2025, Cybergenetics presented a TrueAllele® user webinar on “Identifying Remains using a TrueAllele® Database”. Bill Allan and Matt Legler show how to use TrueAllele to solve a mass disaster using a real case example.

In this demonstration, a TrueAllele analyst will identify victim remains from a bus crash using the DNA of relatives. The TrueAllele Kinship module infers relative genotypes from family references. The TrueAllele Database automatically matches these relative genotypes to the victim remains. The identification process is fast, automated, and easy to use.

    Speakers: Bill Allan, Matt Legler
