TrueAllele® Casework

The TrueAllele Casework technology can be used to help forensic scientists rapidly review and interpret complex crime scene data. Cybergenetics fully automated TrueAllele Casework analyzes, interprets and reports complex DNA data rapidly, cost effectively and with a high degree of accuracy. The TrueAllele technology has broad applications for reference samples, single and complex crime scene DNA, as well as mixed, degraded and low-copy number DNA.

The TrueAllele Casework results simplify the DNA process in several ways. The TrueAllele Casework provides information, clarity, reliability and productivity. The total interpretation and reporting time for DNA mixture cases is greatly reduced. Using TrueAllele Casework as a scientific tool provides the analyst with a unique inferred genetic profile with high discriminating power for identifying (hence apprehending and convicting) unknown suspects. Complex DNA profile results are presented as the genotype at each locus of an unknown contributor. A mixture result is as easy to understand and report as a clean, single source DNA profile. Results are reproducible and scientifically reliable. In particular, one can test a computer interpretation system, and determine its error rate, as mandated by Federal admissibility guidelines.
